pirate scarecrow trail
The scarecrows have begun to arrive. Some have been delayed by the filthy weather but there are lots here for you to come and see.
Sadly, in last night's storm they all have forgotten their names!! Can you help us come up with brilliant Piratey & Mermaidy names please?
Click above to download the map.
You do not have to print the quiz, pop names on a list and hand in to the Info Tent at the Carnival.
Winning entry will be picked at random at the end of the Carnival. If you won't be there include contact details with your entry.
Will you make a Scarecrow for our Scarecrow Trail around Ewhurst?
We would love more!
Best Scarecrow Prize:
Family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) to the Fabulous Nobodies playing after the Carnival plus a bumper bag of goodies. If you've already bought your tickets we will refund the tickets you've bought.
Pirate scarecrows and their mermaid friends will go up Friday 23rd July.
Route map will be available here early Saturday 24th July.
The circular route will be along Mapledrakes Road, Farthingham Lane & Downhurst Road and part of The Street to link the two roads.
A short cut for those with little legs along The Glebe.
You can start at any point and go in either direction. Parking available at the Recreation Ground.
There will also be a prize for the
best scarecrow not on the route so scarecrows welcome anywhere in Ewhurst - let us know where yours will be if it's tucked away.
